Throughout the day, everyone shared knowledge about our local coastal ecology, and what could be sustainably foraged. Participants received laminated sheets (see below) featuring edible seaweeds, lichens, coastal vegetables, berries, flowers, mushrooms, spices, intertidal critters, and fish.

Most of the photos in the gallery below the info sheets were taken by members of the group passing around underwater disposable cameras. They turned out to be beautiful representations of nature in our area. Some of these will be featured on our limited series of SS Atlantic ‘Art with Nature’ postcards.
